Details: Buses will run from 11am to 7pm with drop off/pick up running about every 30 minutes. Beer ambassadors will be on each bus talking beer, handing out schwag and generally keeping the flow going smoothly.
You may begin your journey at any participating bar and get on as many buses as you wish. For those of you who live in the burbs, take the train and start downtown at Jose Pistolas!
The Bars and Events: We will be unvealing Carol Stoudt’s latest German creation, Karnival Kolsch! We will also feature a few other Stoudts beers and as always the best line-up of German beer in the city. There is even talk about the Brauhaus having its first Firkin.
Also going on:At the institute will be Beastly-Good Barleywine Bonanza, the 2nd annual Stout Brunch will be at Johnny Brenda’s, Big Wood weekend at the Standard Tap, Around the Clock with DogfishHead at the Kite and Key, The Devils Den will be pairing Cheese and beer featuring Duvel and Ommegang, Jose Pistola’s will be hosting an Ithaca Brewery Brunch with great Ithaca beer all day, and Sidecar will be having a Double IPA event.

Whatever you want to call it, it’s a good reason to have some specials!! From Thursday February 11th at 11:11 in the morning until midnight Tuesday February 16th Brauhaus Schmitz will help you “Over-indulge” Rhineland style. Koelsch will be $1.50 in propper 0.2L glasses and a Kranz (tray consisting of 11 Koelsch) will be only $15! Chef Jeremy will cook up some specials including Fastnacht donuts to help you “fatten up” for your lenten Fast. We will decorate for Karneval and play plenty of Karneval music.
